Improving realism with displacement

- Displacement effect are one of my favorite compound effect in the software. In case you don't know, a compound effect take the pixel information of another layer to drive its results. You can use it to create camera blur and different distortion effects, but it is also a very useful tool when compositing elements that should get their movement from the surface underneath or above them. In this movie, I'll share yet another recipe to create a displacement source in order to distort a logo or text based on the content of the underlying clip, in our case, a clip of waves crashing onto the beach.
