- Let's jump into Illustrator and take a look at the proper way to export our text into Cinema 4D. Now, once you're done creating your logo, in this case just some simple text and some shapes, what we want to do is make sure that we convert everything to outlines. Right, so, with the type selected, now, I've already gone ahead and done that, you would select Create Outlines for your type. Now, that is going to change it or modify it from editable type into outlines, right? So, each letter, each shape, is going to be a path or an outline. Once you are done with that, what we need to do is go to Save As, and then, now I'm just going to leave this how it is, just for now. You want to make sure the version is set to Illustrator 8. It's going to give you some warnings about an older format. Right, right, right, all, yes, yes, yes, that's all good. And we're going to go ahead and hit OK.
