Learn how to import the camera exported from After Effects into Maya.
- [Instructor] Now we're in Maya,…in our default scene we've provided,…and next thing we're going to do is import…the FBX camera that we'd exported…out of After Effects into here.…So first thing we're going to do is go under File,…Import, go to the Desktop, Exercise Files,…Chapter One, FBX, Shot 01 Cam dot fbx,…and bring that in.…So now we've got the solids that we had exported…and we have our camera.…One thing we want to do, you can see that…off the bat this has been set to frame one to 300,…but now it's set to start at frame zero…and end at frame 299.…
That's just the way this plugin's going to export those keys.…It's always going to start at frame zero.…I prefer to work in a world where we always start…at frame one, and since our backplate footage…is frame one to 300, those are the actual files on disk,…we want this to all match up and not be having to shift…things a frame here or there.…So what I'm going to do is I'm going to select my camera here,…go under Windows, Animation Editors, Graph Editor.…Here are all the keys for the translation, rotation,…
