- [Instructor] In this movie, I will show you how to import an animated OBJ sequence using Video Copilot Element 3D plug-in. So if you want to follow along you'll need a copy of this plug-in. Now currently there isn't a trial or a demo version for it so if you have it I welcome you to work with me but if not, don't worry, you can still get a lot by watching this process and then decide if you want to invest in this plug-in. So Element 3D, as you can read, is a 3D object-based particle engine that will allow you to walk, manipulate and render your 3D models right inside After Effects. So let's switch back to After Effects, and in order to apply Element 3D we need a blank solid. So I'm going to go to the Layer menu and under New create a new solid. I'm going to name this one Element, and I'm going to make sure that it is set to the comp size and click okay. The color doesn't really matter.
