- I'll start by opening up the Oh No Robots' master edit to preview the animation and get a rough idea of how it's looking. (Oh No Robots music) Well, it's looking, pretty unified and well, pretty imperfect. But it's still missing a little something to take the handmade look to the next level. And that something is visual evidence that this footage has actually been handled by human hands. I'm talking fingerprints, dust, smudges, itty bitty little arm hairs or eyelashes that landed on the paper elements or still photos. That's right. I want some real life grunge up in there. Now you can make your own animated grunge texture with the help of a scanner and some everyday white printer paper. I'm always looking for a reason to abandon my computer screen and get my hands a little dirty. And I encourage you to do the same.
