Going to a specific time
- Making sure you know how to quickly navigate the timeline using the mouse or track pad as well as keyboard shortcuts means that you're in precise control over where the play head or current time indicator is currently loaded. This'll make it a lot easier to control playback and to move through and select items for animation. Let's click on the time display here and we can type in a specific number. For example, if I type in 00, you see it goes to Home. Type in 215 and it jumps to two seconds and 15 frames. Now this is dictated by the time basis, so you see here for example that we're using 24p timeline. It also indicates the frames with a total count of 63 frames. So if I typed in 228 and hit Enter, you see that it actually goes to 3:04, because there's four frames more beyond the 24 frames. So two seconds and 28 frames would really be three seconds and four frames when 24 frames equals a second. Now if you want to change this display, you can. Control clicking will change the total…
