Fixing color cast with tint and white balance
- Let's explore some additional strategies to remove unwanted tint. Remember, tint can be caused by lighting conditions where there's a mixture of different types of light, or by camera settings being slightly off. Oftentimes people work with Auto White Balance, and the camera can become confused by the lighting conditions. Or maybe you're shooting a scene that's mostly indoor lighting, but different light is coming through a window. As such, the presets in the camera might not be exactly accurate. So I'm going to show you how during post production you can fix this. Let's start with this first project here. And we've got a definite strong color cast, but what I want to do is remove that and get it to be neutralized. So, this can all be done using the lumetri color effect. If we take a look at this, you're going to see that we've made a series of adjustments using both Temperature and Tint as well as other options…
