- [Narrator] The First Vertex Toolkit script is a great help when animating either masks or shapes. It's available for pay what you wish on aescripts.com so please download, install, and restart after effects then let's all continue together. I'm going to go into my "after effects" file and I will be in chapter one, 06_First Vertex Toolkit. In this animation, I have two shape layers with a bunch of shape paths that I'm animating on using the trim path shape attribute, located here under this "add menu". Trim paths actually will animate on the stroke or the paths of any shape layer. So, I'm just going to go ahead and highlight both of my layers. I'll hit "u" just so we can see the actual key frames that are animating on these shape layers. Now, as I preview the animation, the timing is pretty good and it ends looking pretty good too. But, I don't like how the yellow fill kind of highlight lines here come on from the center out. It looks weird and I want it to be the opposite way and…
