- [Instructor] It's time now to extrude those two titles we've created and give them some depth and create a real 3D object out of them. To do so, we'll need to switch renderer or render engines from the classic 3D to the cinema 4D renderer. So, I'm going to pause my playback over here and I'm going to click near the word, renderer, and this is going to open up the composition settings and also point me exactly to where I need to be but first on the 3D renderer. So you've got a couple of options here. You've got the classic 3D which is going to take 2D layers and allow them to be oriented and placed in 3D space. And then you've got the cinema 4D as well as the ray-traced 3D deprecated engine. So we're going to rely on the cinema 4D renderer, and the moment that I'm going to select it, it's going to tell you in one line that it enables extrusion of text and shapes and this is the preferred renderer for extruded 3D work on most computers.
