- [Instructor] There are eight different kinds of emitters in particular and as you would expect, each different emitter will net different results. I've created this video to give you a broad overview of each of the different emitters and why you might want to choose one over the other. So let's dive in. If you go to the upper left corner of the interface in the project panel, in the Emitter Types folder, we'll work through each of the different emitters from one through eight. So double click on the 01_Point_Emitter and make sure the current time indicator is at about two seconds and then I want you to select Layer 1. This is the layer that contains the Particles system. If we go to the Effect Controls panel and click on the word Particular here, now you can see I've got a point right here which is actually being used to emit these particles.
