Expanding your options with ReelSmart Motion Blur

- As much as I like the Force Motion blur and the Peaks and Motion blur effects, I must warn you that both can be a serious, render hub. The higher the motion blur level, the slower it will take to calculate it. Now since both effects are using previous and subsequent frames, you can sometimes see the same warped, distortion phenomena that we've witnessed with the peaks and motion technology in the previous chapter. So, if any motion blur is something that you're going to do a lot, I'd recommend considering a third party solution from Late Vision Effects and the name of the effects is ReelSmart Motion Blur. This plugin works much faster and it comes in two flavors, the regular one and the Pro option. The Pro options add mat options and 12 point built in tracker for more accurate results, as well as support for motion vector pass if you have it from your 3D package.
