Editing 3D textures
- The 3D object that comes into Photoshop is a live object. You can go in and further manipulate the textures and make any changes that you want to the object. We'll explore this more in depth a bit later where we really go to town on a particular model and make some dramatic changes. But let me show you how simple it is to make a basic change to the soccer ball. If we take a look at the 3D object here, the layer called soccer_ball, I'm just going to switch to the 3D panel. You will notice that the soccer ball is a folder essentially. And if we twirl that down, there's lots of different elements within that folder. Well, rather than having to sort through all of these things and find them, I can use these categories up top. So instead of viewing everything and seeing the entire scene, the first choice here is show me all the meshes, and that is showing you each of the quadrants for the soccer ball.
