Edging textures with Roughen Edges

- [Narrator] The Roughen Edges effect allows you to create a wide range of edges for your photos with lots of options for fractal and smooth edges. So if you're following along, start with a new untitled project inside of After Effects. Then go to the File menu, choose Import, then File, then locate the windmill.jpg file, which is located in folder four of the chapter three folder of the exercise files. So once you find that, you can select it, choose Open, then let's create a new composition based on that JPEG file. So I like to grab the JPEG from the Project panel and just drop it into the Composition panel. Then let's go to the Effects & Presets, and let's come in here and look for Roughen Edges. So I'll type in the word rough, and we'll see Roughen Edges in the Stylize group. Let's apply that. And now it might be a little bit difficult to see depending on your magnification, so I'm going to come in here and change mine to about 50%. And I'll just pan over here a little bit. So in…
