- [Eran] Welcome to After Effects Weekly. I'm Eran Stern and in this week's tip I'll show you a quick way to create animated pie chart in After Effects using only shape layers and a simple expression, of course. All right, so let's move to this composition where we only have this reference frame. So this is just a simple PNG with some statistics about favorite type of movie and let's say that we want to animate it quickly inside After Effects. So I'm going to start by selecting the ellipse tool over here, making sure nothing is selected and I want to create a circle with no fill so let's just make sure that the fill is set to none and I want actually to sample the stroke color from this orange color as well as define it as 300 pixels. Now I am going to try and aim it here to the middle. Doesn't really matter, we can move it later, but just as a quick start. And then add the shift key plus command, this will be controlling Windows and just drag this circle to somewhere over here. Now…
