Now we've already gone through the nitty-gritty of creating each of these different graphic elements. Now's the time where we get to have a little bit more fun and start animating some different effects inside of After Effects. In this video, we're going to explore how we can use Vegas to create a really interesting, repeating graphic element in our background using one of the elements we've already created out of Illustrator. When we look at our project you can see we've got everything set up on a black background. Well, if you scroll down to the bottom, on layer 12 we have a lines background and those lines are black so we're not seeing them. What I want to do is take this information and actually add it as a mask to a layer solid. So I can then animate that mask using a different effect. So with the lines background.ai selected, go up under Edit>Edit Original. Now we're not really going to edit the original. We're just going to copy some data from this file. So to get started, if…
