- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we disintegrated the text through sugar using the built-in effects in the application, and this is how it looks. Not too bad, but we can make it much prettier. When it comes to particles, you've got plenty of options inside After Effects in the form of third party plugins. One of them is Red Giant Particular, which was used here to create this effect. So I'm going to pause this, and in this movie I'm going to show you how to create the same disintegration effect using Particular. Now, Particular is a very deep and complex tool and to be honest it falls outside of the scope of this course. So I'm not going to teach you how to use it from scratch, but rather give you a walkthrough to understand the general process.
