Despilling
- [Teacher] Go ahead and open composition 2.4 Despilling. Despilling removes any green or blue spill that appears on the subject and replaces it with a more neutral color that would be better for the background that you're using. So, to make this more effective, you need a background. In this composition, you see that we have three clips and I made the middle one invisible, so we're really seeing the top clip against the bottom clip, which is just a shot of a river. Let's go ahead and scrub the timeline so that we can see if there's a better frame that we can use for this despilling. Somewhere around here, which is timecode 8:12, 8:13, something like that, you're going to see that the subject has a finger up. Let's go ahead and zoom in. To zoom in, you can just use your mouse scroll wheel while your mouse is on top of this panel. Now, you can see that the finger has a border around it, you can also see that the shirt has it.
