Creating a three-point lighting setup

- When lighting a composition in After Effects, using common lighting setups and scenarios can be extremely helpful. In this movie, we're going to look at creating a three-point lighting setup around an After Effects logo to have a dramatic impact on our scene. I'm here in my Chapter 2_3 composition and we're going to add a three-point lighting setup here around our logo. To get set up for this, let us actually change the amount of views that we're looking at. We will choose two views vertical this time and here at the bottom, I'm going to change this to a custom view and here in the custom view itself, I'm going to press the c key to just zoom out a little bit so I can have a better overall look at the logo and some of the lights that I'm about to add into the scene. I'll press the v key to go back to the default selection tool. Let's head to the Layer menu, and under New, choose a light type. For the first one, let's use the spot that we added in the last movie.
