Creating a strobe effect using Posterize Time and CC Wide Time

- If you're using After Effects to add some punch to music videos, then the next technique may apply to you. I'll show you how to create a strobe effect to video, using the Posterize Time effect. And then we'll take it to the next level by adding some artistic blur treatment, using the CC Wide Time effect and the CC Composite effect. So first, let's take a look at this clip of a young band who is practicing in muted audio, which we cannot hear but try to imagine it. And now let's say that we want to bring some more life into it by creating some nice video style echoing effect or something along those lines. It will be more simple if I am going to show you, instead of talking about it. For the other way to select the clip, and I'm going to apply, under Time, the Posterize Time effect. This effect will help you to impose a specific Frame Rate on a layer. I'm going to start with a value of eight, just 'til we get a sense of how this looks.
