Creating a still image sequence with multiple machines

- Remember, with a network render or a watch folder, you're generally gonna be writing image sequences. That's because you can't split the rendering of a movie to multiple machines, rather different machines can take different parts or frames and put those all into the same destination folder. Then afterwards you could import those frames into a video editing program and it will assemble them back into a movie. Let me show you how this works. Let's make a new After Effects project for a moment and I'll choose to import that image sequence. File, Import, File. Now, what you can do is navigate to the network drive that you captured. There's my network render and my outputs folder. And you'll see that each image was written to a sub folder based upon the name of the composition. I can now select the first image with a single click. Make sure you choose the box here, Import as Photoshop Sequence. If there are any missing frames, they'll show up as color bars.
