Once your historical image animations are complete in Adobe After Effects, your next step is to render. This can be done one at a time to each photo or as a group. How do you make consistent exports? In this movie, author Richard Harrington demonstrates how to create render presets so that the exports are consistent.
- Once you find settings that work for you,…it's a good idea to save a render template,…so that you can reuse those settings for consistency.…What I suggest is duplicate your previous render.…Command or Ctrl + D, and you'll see…the settings you previously used for render output.…If you click on the dropdown menu,…you'll see the option for Make Template.…I'll choose Make Template here,…and call this Best Progressive LOC, for length of comp.…
You'll see that it's stored here.…When you click OK, that's going to be written as a new preset.…You can also go back into that Make Template dialog,…and change which ones are used.…For example, I can set that I want that to be…the standard there, under the Movie Default.…Now let's click Cancel for a second,…and I'm going to choose another option here,…under Edit, Templates, Render Settings.…This brings up the same dialog, as you see,…but doesn't try to create a new template.…
Now you can simply go through…the different options here to see them.…I'll assign the Movie Default…
