…One of my favorite newer filters in Photoshop is the…Oil Paint filter, which is actually accelerated by the graphics card.…This is a very fast way to create…painterly looks and it looks really well on footage.…I've opened up a shot and I'll just…right-click and convert that to a Smart Object.…Now that that's done, I can go ahead and apply the filter.…There it is, Oil Paint.…Now this filter has a lot of settings that are pretty…straightforward, but I recommend you zoom in to 100% to accurately judge.…
The Stylization slider is going to really take it from simple to complex strokes and…combine that with Cleanliness to simplify things out or make it a bit grittier.…Scale is going to change the size of the stroke and then you can impact…the amount of Bristle Detail that is in there.…Shine will make it have a bit more of a…dimensional feel and you probably don't want to go that far.…But you could play with the overall angle of the light.…And let's pull that down so the Stylization is a bit lower.…
You see it gets really rough. I like that a bit swirlier.…
