- [Instructor] Now instead of just leaving an empty yellow plate at the back of the car, I want to stick the word taxi, written, of course, in McCormick font to this plate. I already prepared this element for you by typing it here inside After Effects and then converted the live text to shapes. This is a similar process to create outlines in Illustrator or Photoshop, and it also means that you don't need the fonts to be installed if you want to follow along with me. But here is the problem. We already tracked this yellow plate, but we've used the Mask Tracker to do it, meaning that we have a mask shape that changes from frame to frame. What we need is an X and Y coordinate so we can use the position of it and match it to that taxi word. Now we can retrack this shot the same way I showed you before, and maybe even add additional trackers for the scale and rotation.
