In a previous movie I had multiple shape groups as part of the same shape layer. Now, I'll just quickly undo to restore that ellipse, just remind you what I had here, but I'll delete that for now. However, there are times when it's useful to have multiple paths as part of the same group so that they get the same stroke and same fill, and that allows you to do some other things, which we'll show you later. Now, when you use the shape tools, you will always create a brand-new shape group. If you want to create a new path inside an existing shape group, you need to select that group, then use this Add function. It exists down here in the Timeline panel, as well as up here in the toolbar. I prefer to use one in the Timeline panel, because this is where I'm working. I'll select Add and in this case I'll add a polystar. It is a type of parametric shape; it can be either a polygon or a star. Once I've done that, you'll see that I now have these two paths inside of my same group. If I change…
