- When you take a stationary shot using a tripod always remember to shoot the background without the actor action. Then you can use it in order to create a clean plate which will be very useful when you need to separate the foreground elements and create a simple key. One way to do it is using the Time Difference effect. Okay, so we are starting once again with the same skateboard jumper clip. I'm just going to preview it once again for those of you who are joining us now. And my aim here is to try and separate this guy from it's background. This time I'm going to rely on the Time Difference effect which can actually help you to pull very accurate key, assuming that you have a clean plate. Now we don't have a clean plate here but the first couple of seconds of this clip can be used in order to create the background that we need.
