- So what's the use of creating all these presets if we can't share it with others? In this movie, we'll take a look at where the presets are saved and how to share them with other team members to save time as well. So having a bunch of textures on hand is essential for any motion graphic artist. You should know that under your animation presets inside of After Effects, there are a series of backgrounds that you could use as textures for your actual workflow. This chapter is building on the previous chapter, I'm in my chapter one six composition. And I just want to show you here that I have a composition called Textures inside my chapter one six composition. Now if I double click that, this actual composition is a solid texture. And in the effect controls, there are two things. There's fractal noise as well as a 4-color gradient. And this was used as a base.
