- [Instructor] In this chapter I'll show you how to use the Mask Tracker in After Effects. This tracker is simpler to use such as clearing part of the video, tracking faces, or even help you with rotoscoping tasks. In this movie we will use it to remove the license plate of this taxi that crosses down the road. All right so I'll pause the playback, and I'll move to this marker, in this case four seconds in this timeline. And now it may look strange because obviously this composition is not four seconds long. Actually if we're going to go to the Composition settings, and take a look at it, we can see that it is two seconds and 12 frames. which was generated automatically when we precomposed this shot because it was part of our main composition over here, and After Effects tends to remember this. So if this bugs you, you can of course reset this timecode to zero, and then if I'm going to click OK, you will see the correct timecode in relationship to this composition So once again this…
