Creating camera shake
- I'm in Chapter 3-04: Camera Shake with Wiggle. Now, I like a little bit of continuous motion in a lot of my animation. One way you achieve this is to give everything the look of being shot by a handheld camera, giving a little more random wiggle to everything in my composition. It has this organic, humanistic feel to it that just helps push your animation to that next level. So, I'll show you how to quickly use a few effects and presets to make an adjustment layer that shakes everything beneath it, as if it's being shot by a handheld camera. Alright, let's start by creating a new adjustment layer. Let's go ahead and pause playback, now go to layer, new, adjustment layer. There we go. Now, an adjustment layer is a layer that's blank that you put effects on that will affect everything below it. I'm going to rename this adjustment layer, I'm going to select it, hit return, and just name it, "Camera Wiggle Adj," adj for adjustment, not adjective. Alright, let's go ahead and click back…
