Creating 3D objects with Revolve

- Let's explore one more option. Rather than just extruding and beveling something, we can actually use a simple line to create an extrusion or a lathe. This is a lot like if you were spinning pottery. Remember, you can create a basic shape with your hand on the clay, and then as the pot spins on the potter's wheel, it becomes a rounded 3D object. Let's take a look at two examples. You'll notice, in this case, that I have a vase opened. Well this vase is really a simple shape. If I select it here, you can see that there's a line. Let's remove the 3D effect and you see that all it really was, was a traced line that then gets revolved in 360 degrees to make that shape. Alright, easy enough. Let's throw that effect away and we'll create it from scratch. If you've drawn a line, you could choose Effect, 3D, Revolve. And I recommend, like before, you click the Preview button. And you'll see the shape created. Now, you can adjust this here and start to tweak the Angle of the object. And as…
