Correcting chromatic aberration

- If you've ever noticed strange colors around the edges of images inside of your video clips, you've probably witnessed chromatic aberration. Sometimes it can be kind of a bear to fix, but when you're inside of Photoshop, fixing it can actually be kind of fun. Now at first glance, everything in this image looks pretty okay. I mean, it's sort of a bright exposure, so sure, we could bring that down, but there are some technical things we need to be checking out. So I'm going to go down here and grab my magnifying glass, and then I'll just click and drag to the right in the upper left corner to zoom in. And sure enough, I can see I've got this purple fringing that's happening here. That's called chromatic aberration. It happens when the lens accidentally splits how the light moves through the lens, and it doesn't completely line up properly to give you a clean image when it hits the sensor. So how do we fix this?
