Controlling word spacing

- After Effects text tool can create amazing animations and can be quite deep and complex. But there is no way or a button to control word spacing like you can do inside Photoshop or Illustrator. In this movie I'll show you a quick method to help you tight up the spaces between words in After Effects. So let's imagine that we are working on this design. And although it's quite easy to convert this Photoshop text to live After Effects text, like we saw in the previous movie, by selecting the live text layers, that of course are live text inside Photoshop and then going to the Layer menu and choosing the Convert to Editable Text command. But there is no easy way to control the spacing between the words themselves. Just so you know how to do it inside Photoshop, I'm going to open up this source files folder and select one of the original text layers and press command E or control E on the PC to launch the same document or the same text document inside Photoshop.
