Controlling composition settings
- All right, we've covered some of the factors that can really impact your render and outputs. But lets take a look at a few of the hidden things or smaller choices that you can make along the way that will impact how long it takes to build a preview, or the final render. To start, we'll begin with the actual composition settings itself. Remember, when you choose to make a new composition, you're going to be presented with a dialog. Composition, new composition. And you'll see several choices here. Generally speaking, it's good to stick with one of these presets that has the right settings and frame rate loaded. You'll notice, for example, if I choose UHD 4K, it loads up. But if I want to, I can choose any frame rate from the pop-up or manually start to override. If you're working with an existing sequence, you'll also find similar options. Just make sure the composition window is loaded so it knows the one you want. And then composition settings.
