- As you start to color grade and manipulate, it's often a good idea to be able to quickly toggle between the original image and its previous state. I've got a couple a strategies here to make it easier. Remember the use of adjustment layers really is key, though. With this particular shot you'll notice that we've taken advantage of different presets, so the blue, bright and colorize are all options available inside the effects and presets panel, so if I don't like the blue wash, I can try the red hand tint which looks better and then the vignette lighting to really brighten things down. That looks a little strong though, so I'll press T for opacity and blend that off slightly so it's not so dominate there in the middle. Now, what I can do is start to compare things easily.
