Color and texture in the Timeline

- [Voiceover] We're going to step away from animating for a few minutes here, and take some time to create a background environment, stylizer elements, and to add a little bit of texture. First, I'll create a new white background layer. I'm going to go ahead and scroll to the bottom of my layer panel, I'll click on floor, just son I'll know whatever new layer I make will come up right at the bottom. I'll go ahead and click the new layer icon, and move this new layer, Layer 1, down below floor. I want to make sure that the second color in my color picker here is set to white, so when I convert this layer into a new background layer, it will take that color and make it white. With Layer 1 selected, I'm going to go up to my layer drop-down, select New, and select Background From Layer. I now have a new background layer that I can eyeball on and off, and just a pure white background that takes all of the alpha channel. Now I want to actually paint in a blue sky and some green grass, maybe…
