- [Instructor] At our design company we're always masking and silhouetting images and photographs. In this lesson we'll take a look at a very fast way to remove a solid color from any image. And while this is certainly possible to do inside of Photoshop, I would argue that many times you can do this a lot faster in After Effects. So if you're following along we're gonna go inside of folder five in the Chapter one folder and import the coffee_beans.jpg file into After Effects. And so you can use a File, Import, or you can simply drag the JPG file from your operating system right into After Effects. And a shortcut for creating a composition based on the size of this JPG file that we talked about in the introduction video is to take the JPG file from the Project panel and just drop it right into the Composition panel. That will give us a brand new composition with the exact size of the JPG, which in this case is 3939 by 2185. So with our coffee_beans imported what we're gonna do is come…
