Learn how to color correct the hedges in After Effects.
- All right, so now we're going to add our hedges in,…and color correct those.…So I'm just going to grab my trees layer here,…hit duplicate, Ctrl + D and call it Hedges.…I'm going to hit the E key to look at the effects,…and I'm going to delete out everything except the set map.…Solo it. So we can just see that.…And obviously it's still set to the mat from the trees,…but I'll hit F3 to get to my effect controls.…And now were going to use the second mat,…because we need the red channel,…from the second mat to isolate the hedges.…So, there we go. Again, just to confirm,…go back look at our building 01 mat 2,…and our red channel was the hedges.…
Okay, so, we've got those.…Alright I'm unsolo them.…So now we can see there in there,…but you can see that there kind of not fitting in the scene,…we can obviously see that there really overlayed…So lets do some color correction on these,…to help integrate them better.…So, I'm going to go to effects, color correction, exposure,…we're going to change the exposure to .17,…camera correction to .7.…
