- So here I have a master assemble comp containing the work that we've done on the foreground and behind it, the layer that we started with. Now my job at this point is to restore everything that is supposed to be part of my foreground and is currently missing. And so for example, in this frame, you can see that that includes a couple of sections of board here. So I'm going to use that background layer as my clone source. I'll open that in Layer View, which is where we do all of the painting. And I'm looking for a detail that I can see both in the foreground and background. So for example, I'm gonna go straight to this little corner right here and put my crosshairs right over that. I hold down the option key to see the crosshairs instead of the brush tool and click, and that sets the source. Then I move to the other layer and go to the same place. Now if I'm not sure whether they're aligning around that point or not, I can turn on Clone Source Overlay, and you're gonna see that as I…
