Classic color match

- Matching colors is very important. And can yield a much convincing results when compositing two or more elements together. In the next three movies, I'll show you three techniques, each one creates a different look and a different result which will fit a certain situation. We'll start with the most simple and straightforward approach of matching each channel on its own to create a better match between the foreground and the background layer in this comp. I'm just going to press zero so you can get a sense of what we are dealing with. So we have this tiled background effect which was done entirely inside After Effects. You can dig in into this composition to find out how this was done. In one line I'm just going to say that it uses shape layers and the CC Cylinder effect. On top of it we have a pre-keyed footage of a woman. And let's start to make them look as they were shot together. I mean, as much as possible. I'm going to start by typing here the word Curves.
