Checking processor and RAM details

- I realize as you start to make changes to how memory is used on your system you might not really feel in control over what's happening. After all, the numbers are pretty theoretical if you don't go under the hood. Fortunately, After Effects has the ability to give you a report on what's happenings. Inside your Preferences, we just need to open up the details, so let's go back under Preferences here for memory, Edit, Preferences, Memory and I can click on on the Details tab but before doing that, I'm gonna launch a couple more apps. Let's bring up a version of Premiere Pro here and let's make sure that Media Encoder is also still running and as these apps launch, they're gonna start to consume resources. Now, on this particular system, I have about 32 gigs of RAM and about 22 of those are allocated here to these apps. Let's go ahead though and click OK for a moment and we'll let those other apps finish launching and I wanna show you something important. Here's Premiere and let's just…
