Checking focus in a photo

- When working with document resources, it's always a good idea to check focus. You see, a lot of older images, and even some modern ones, might suffer from poor focus. This could be because of lower quality lenses that were used on the camera or perhaps operator error. It's important that you check this detail as you're deciding which images you're going to use. Particularly if you're dealing with lower resolution files. Let's unfilter the view here and I'm going to locate an image that I want to check. I'll select the image here and press the space bar. This will immediately take the image full screen. This makes it easy to browse and look at the image as a whole. Gone is the rest of the user interface and you can clearly see the overall image, making it useful to judge things like composition and other problems. If we click on the image, you can also press the plus button to zoom in. In this case, I'm at 400% magnification so a little bit of pixelization occurs but it still makes…
