To save you some of the work of creating all you materials from scratch. Cinema 4D Lite, provides you with lots of free presets that you can apply to your objects. We're in chapter 805, C4D. And if you want to follow along, you can open up that file, too. Now, you can load material presets by going through this menu that we had a look at earlier. And all the presets are available in there. Another way of applying presets is to go to the content browser. And go into presets, light, materials, you'll see that there are folders for each of the categories that appear in those menus. So if I wanted to look at the metallic textures, I can just open that up and have a look at these previews. Before I apply them. So let's go back one step. Let's go into glossy. What I'm looking for is a nice red glossy surface to apply to my robot. Now, I don't have to apply these in the object manager.
