Building animation with TypeMonkey
- If you ever need to create dynamic animated text with advanced camera moods you should probably check out how to animate type using TypeMonkey. In this video I get to explore one of my most favorite scripts to actually create animation from scratch. And that's called TypeMonkey and it's available from aescripts.com. Please, if you don't have it, feel free to give it a try and see if it's something you might like. I'm gonna go ahead and minimize my web browser here and we'll start off in After Effects. Just reset my window. Okay, so let's start by creating a new composition. I'll go to Composition, New Composition, and we'll make a 1280 x 720 column at five seconds to ratio. Go ahead and click okay. And now all we have to do is go up under Window and go down to TypeMonkey. TypeMonkey has a very straighforward interface. Basically you enter the text here and click Do It and you're done. So let's give that a shot. I'll click here, and actually delete the text, and we'll say early day…
