Brush tools come last

Brush tools come last

- Let's get into the paint tools in AfterEffects. Now when we say paint, we usually mean cloning, but in this lesson, I'm gonna show you how just the basic Brush Tool can be used for visual effects. So here's where things are at. My skater's coming through, and the main change that's been made since any previous lessons is that the masks around him have been loosened up, if I solo the foreground layer, you can really see it, so that his shadow is now included with the mask area that goes by. And so you can see it moving along the ground there, but you see it's missing over this low wall here. You wouldn't see it on that far background wall, but you would see it down here. That's causing the shot to look a little odd. You might not notice it right away, but once you're aware of it, you can see that the shadow moves along the wall, disappears, and comes back. We're going to fix this just simply with the Brush Tool. So I'm gonna choose an area where I can see the cast shadow over here…
