Breakdown of the final composition - After Effects Tutorial

Breakdown of the final composition
As a preview of what we're doing in this project, I have a breakdown. So here we can see the original shot. It's a partial set against green screen. Our first task is to remove that green, so we'll use the keylight keyer. Well, the tape marks are a bit tricky, so we'll create a custom luma matte to get rid of those. We'll bring in 3D renderers from Maya, and motion track those in the background. This includes reflections to make the windows look more realistic. We'll use procedural noise inside After Effects to create dirt and additional reflections on the set windows. We'll also motion track various digital set dressing in the form of posters and stickers. We'll add additional background buildings to fill in the left side of the set where it runs out. We'll also construct a fake 3D window right inside After Effects. We'll combine all those elements together, to produce a final result that makes it look like that set, was in a real building in a real city.
