- If you're looking for a simple way to do black and white, the black and white effect is a great way to go in and target the different areas for conversion. It also makes it simple to have a subtle, duotone effect. This gives you the ability to still control the components of color and then introduce a new, strong color later on afterwards. By doing this, we can really emphasize different areas, such as the reds, golds, greens and blues to balance this image out and get the right contrast.
