- [Eran] Welcome to After Effects Weekly. I'm Eran Stern and, this time, I'll show you how to bake geometric data to keyframes in Cinema 4D so you can use them at the post stage inside After Effects. So here's an example that helps to illustrate this challenge. In this composition, I've already placed a Cinema 4D file sandwiched between two solids. To each solid, I've applied an instance of Particular, which is a third-party plugin from Red Giant. Now Particular, like many effects in the application, has this cube near its name in the Effect Controls. This tells us that it is 3D-aware, meaning that it can see lights and camera in the composition and can work with them to create 3D motion. For example, you can use lights that starts with the word Emitter to generate particles and, if the light is moving, those particles will follow it.
