Lean how to assign materials in Maya.
- [Instructor] Now that we've seen how to create…a redshift material and assign…different texture maps to it,…I've moved forward here and just made a couple…different materials using the exact same technique…we looked at in the last video.…So if we go to Windows, Rendering Editors, Hypershade,…you can see that we have our stucco material.…If I right click and graph the network,…this is the network we had made for that,…and I've also made one for wood,…one for concrete, and one for metal.…Let me just grab a different one.…I'll just graph this wood network.…Now we can see the exact same thing.…
We just have different texture maps plugged in,…and if we click on some of the place 2D texture nodes,…you can see there's just different texture repeats…for different things that I already figured out…would work well for this.…I've also created a glass material…by simply creating a redshift material…and using the glass preset.…Some of these are just great starting points,…and this will work for us,…and then there's also just this simple gray material…
