- Now if you're utilizing the integration between CINEMA 4D Lite and After Effects, you can definitely imply environment maps inside of CINEMA 4D Lite. And that's what we're going to explore in this video. Now just in case some of you might be unfamiliar with the workflow for creating CINEMA 4D layers inside of After Effects, we're gonna go ahead and create our environment map starting at this point. So within my After Effects project, I wanna create a new CINEMA 4D layer. So I've already got a composition that's 1280x720 and make sure I have a timeline or a Comp panel active, so now I can go to Layer and choose New, MAXON CINEMA 4D File. Let's navigate to our exercise files. In here I'll navigate to chapter 03 and I'll save this as 03_03_EnvMap_in_Cinema4D.c4d. So now, when I go ahead and save this, it's gonna save this file and then open CINEMA 4D Lite.
