As an experienced After Effects user, you probably user keyframes every day. Remember, a key frame allows you to control the position of something over time. For example, I could set a keyframe to be here and two seconds later here. And then the computer will animate that property over time. Learning some of the shortcuts around key frames will let you speed up your animation workflow. And unlock some of the more advanced aspects of working with key frames. One of the most useful shortcuts is to be able to access the core properties of animation. With the layer selected, remember you always have the ability to click and twirl to access the Transform properties. But this can be a bit slow. Instead I like the use the following shortcuts. A for anchor point. P for position. S for scale. R for rotation and T for Opacity. You might be wondering, why not the O key. But that's used to go to the out point of a layer. I for in, O for out.
