Animating text with the TextEvo script
- [Instructor] TextEvo is a script that extremely simplifies the use of text animators. It's available for pay what you wish at aescripts.com, go ahead and download it, copy it to your scripts UI folder and restart After Effects to officially install it. I'm going to jump over to my project file here, I'm in chapter four, 04 TextEvo, and I'm going to use this one text line right here to demo the TextEvo script, but first let's talk a little bit about text animators. Now when we want to animate text and actually have it stay a text layer, we can twirl open our text layer, and we have this little animate thing right here. If we click on that little arrow, you can see we have things like position, scale, skew, rotation, opacity, we can animate all these attributes. I'm going to click on position. Now this lets me change where the position is and I can actually start to animate it. Now there's a range selector for start and stop, and this will let me animate it in by actual character or…
